Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), the industry's non-profit professional trade association, confirmed its 2010 Board of Directors during the 7th Annual GHTA Conference, held November 19-21 in Chandler, Arizona.
The GHTA's executive board is as follows: Doug Cofiell of Ivystone Group, chairman of the board; Beth Lang of Alexa's Angels, Inc., president; Marc Rice of Fox Premier Sales, vice president; Julie Dix of Taggies, Inc., treasurer; and Sharon White of DMW Associates, secretary.
Additionally, the GHTA has added several new members to its 2010 board, each of whom bring a wealth of talent and experience to the organization: Frederic Contino of Midwest-CBK, Todd Litzman of Brandwise, Inc., David Moses of Lazy Susan, and Dennis Nemcek of DNA.
Continuing their board terms are Ed Butler of The Butler Group, Inc., Kelly Gunn of SnapRetail, Cathy Scholin of Cathy & Co., Inc., and Adam Schrier of Whereoware. All GHTA board members are chosen using a nomination and interview process. The members of the GHTA then vote to confirm each member at the annual GHTA conference.
"This new board will continue to bring new energy to this organization," said Beth Lang, the current GHTA president. "We look forward to the year ahead, and to the new and exciting initiatives that will be planned and implemented."
