Hand Painted Recycled Items
I enjoy painting on recycled items, It is a blast going around to antique shop's, second hand stores ETC. Looking for items I can paint on.
I came across this case in a second hand store a few years ago. I have know idea what the case may have been for.
Case measure's 8 " X 13" x 4-1/2"
I found it quit fun to decide what it was I wanted to paint on it.
My Hubby Ed Harris is my designer and artist, and he had drawn this "Farmer" type bird holding a pitch fork, and I decided that was perfect for the case.
The case has a slight texture on it, that isn't to visible until you paint on it.
I prepared the case for painting by wiping down with surface cleaner before painting.
I wanted a checkered border, so it has a bright blue and green.
The bird is also blue, with a tan brown hat and tan bib overalls.
I hope you enjoy and will leave your comments, I try to answer all comments!
