The Beach...And The Guys. LOL!

Let me start by DAY ONE
which is, 16/03/10

Reached Kelantan, and I noticed that all the residents over there are mostly Malays.
Only saw a few Chinese families, and a few couple of tourist from other countries.
All of the women wear tudungs. ALL OF THEM!
Well, except for the kids. They don't.

And my mum said that the Malay girls are all soft-spoken.
You have no idea how true is that!
=D So lady-like!!

We spend the whole day walking around instead of driving around
it reminds me of the times in Thailand =)
They have Parkson O_O hahah!
Which is like the newest building in that area.

The best thing is the Pasar Malam.
Gotta love the food over there.
I likey it so much when the six of us just walk around and buy whatever food we feel like trying.
Yeah, that's our dinner [yum!]

And no, no pictures. As I hate to upload pictures cause it waste so much of my time!
I rather blog and blog and blog.
WITH WORDS =D

DAY TWO 17/03/10

I need a hat. Badly. =='
Thank goodness for the sunglasses though, else I'd be blind!!
I love the sun, when I'm fully covered with sunblock SPF130 PA++ =D
I know I'll get darker still, but it doesn't matter than much as long as I don't get any sunburn!!

Actually, I rather stay pale than being tanned.
I don't look good being tanned, I don't even look like myself anymore. =(
I rather stay as a vampire! =D
Dad said I'm not as fair as anyone thinks.
Its just that somehow, I LOOK like I'm very fair?
If when you compare me and the others, naw.
I'm not. Very. =)

So we waited for the boat to bring us across the sea water to the Perhentian Island Resort.
And the boat ride.
Was. Awesome.
Its Super Fast!
Seriously. I feel like flying. =D
And when the boat bumps hard on the sea, I couldn't stop myself from laughing.
The whole time I was laughing and grinning.
I love the sea. =)

The boat trip took about 30 minutes or so.
We had lunch before checking into our chalet.
Its so cozy =D
And next, snorkeling. !!

I have never been to snorkeling in my life before.
And its something, that its just pure paradise!
Wearing the googles was easy.
You just had to keep remembering to breathe through your mouth instead of your nose.
But the first time I jump into the sea...

Oh.
My.
GAWD!!

I freak out instantly!
The first thing which registered to my mind is OHMYGAWDITISSOFREAKINGDEEPDOWNTHERE!!!
And when I freak out, I made a mistake of breathing with my nose.
You can guess what happens next.

I got used to it quickly though.
Sue Ki got freak out too. And I was half-mad at her for not giving it a second try.
Good thing she did, else she would miss the whole underworld.

And I'm not kidding about the absolutely GORGEOUS Underworld.
Its simply Stunning. Amazing. Beautiful.
The fishes were so tame. They are usually in groups swimming around you.
I took some food to fed them.
The next thing I know,
all of the fishes that smells the food,
rushes to me. In. My. FACE!

Yeahh. I was scared when they did that.
I mean, do they have any idea what humans do to fishes[them]?!
WHY ARE THEY SO TAME?!
Gawd. It really scared the hell out of me.
For a moment I thought they were capable of doing anything like, attacking me.

And then I realized, these are the innocent ones.
They have no idea, that humans eat fishes.
So, they weren't afraid of us at all.
And that's, a good thing.

Forget about "WHY ARE THEY SO TAME?!"
I'm deliriously happy to see them so close around me.
They tried biting my hand when I refuses to let go of the bread. LOL.
My gawd. Pure heaven.
No wonder some people got so addicted to Snorkeling.

So we swam with our life jackets on,
facing down, exploring and observing the Underworld.
It's so beautiful.
There's so many kind of fishes swimming around, minding their own business.
For some reason, my mum loves seeing all kinds of Sea Cucumber at the bottom of the sea.
There are black ones, white ones, polka-dot ones, huge ones, fat ones, and more.

This sounds silly, and childish.
But at that time, I WISHED I could be a mermaid.
Then I won't have any problem breathing as I dive down wherever I want to.
I wish. =)

So. We went to three different spots to snorkel.
Once my brother chocked on seawater [salty much, trust me]
and I just had to laughed at him. XD

There's so many tourists there.
Hot guys? Check.
Half-naked? Check.
Tanned and fit? Check.
But Taken? Check.
LOL!! Sad. But at least I got my Sea!!

The staff people and the guy who's in charge of snorkeling is cuuuuuuuute.
=)
Most of them are really friendly.
They just say "Hi" and smiled at you when you walk passed them.
One even ask whether I want to exchange my sunglasses with him!
LOL. AS IF!!
And also asked where am I from.
Ahahah! Love the atmosphere over there.

So let me get started with the beach.
As you can see, the water is so crystal clear, and the sand is soooo soft.
The sun shinning down on you, and the breeze playing with your hair.
I don't mind staying there forever.
Its so....relaxing..
and there's activities like snorkeling or diving for you!
Its all just so omgomgomgomg

YESH! NOT TO MENTION ABOUT THE FOOD!! =D
Its a 5-star Chalet. YUM!!
T
he Pasta

Baked Macaroni

Potato Wedges

Spaghetti
Mash Potato

Salad

Soup

Bread in the morning with honey
Cinnamon buns

Kampung rice
Chicken with different kind of sauces

same goes to beef, fish, and many, many more!

It'd take me a very long to describe how delicious the food it one by one.
Oh, did I mentioned its buffet?? =D

The first night at Perhention Island, I dreamed of Him.

DAY THREE 18/03/10

Woke up early to spend time at the beach.
And also, at ten in the morning.
SNORKELING ONCE MORE!! =D =D =D

You have no idea how much I love snorkeling =)

This time, we went to another three different spots again.
The first spot we went, is called,
SHARK POINT.
You got it right, SHARK.
SHARK.
SHARK.
SHHHAAAAAAAAAARK!!

=S
Apparently, its not like its those GREAT WHITE SHARK which eats people.
Its only those small kinds of sharks.
BUT STILL!! O____O
Not to mention the cut on my leg is still occasionally bleeding.
And my brother just had to tell me
"Did you know, that one molecule of blood diluted in water, and the shark can still smell it??"
ARGH!!
I love you my lil bro, but gimme a break. =='

Still, we went down snorkeling.
And I'm somewhat relieved and disappointed not to see any small sharks lurking around, eating fishes.
The corals are HUGE! And beautiful.
Saw a clown fish, and kept pointing at it shouting NEMO!!
That's another time when I choked on seawater again xD

The third spot however, is to see whether luck is on our side and we can see some turtles.
No such luck.
Wave was sorta huge, so its harder to look about.
Nevermind.
NEXT TIME =D

Ahhh..love the speedboat.

Apparently, there's another three or four more chalet on the other side of the island.
At our side there's only one. So its more spacious.
The other side is rather messy, and crowded.
And the sand is not as soft as our side!

I actually bought a book for only FIVE BUCKS!!
Silent Honour by Danielle Steel.
She's a good writer =)

As the sunset, I walk by the sea tides and thought about my life.
This would be one of the most romantic moment ever if I'm with my guy ;)

Second night, I tried not to think about him before I fall asleep.

DAY FOUR
19/03/10

Leaving at 12 =(
I don't want to!!
But I had to. Sigh.

Had breakfast, and I last-minute brought back some of the coral by the seaside.
Come over my house now,
And I'll show you where I kept them =D
Collected alot shells too! So pretty!!
Everywhere, I see Families. Couples. Friends. With love =)

The hardest thing of all is to leave the place. I love that place soso much.

The boat ride wasn't that fun as the first time.
In fact, it was a lil scary.
The waves were huge,
there's several times when I really thought the boat is gonna toppled over by the waves!
And I actually make a wish that we'd make to the mainland, alive and well.
But. It's still fun. =D

I just took a look at myself in the mirror again.
I wonder when am I gonna look as fair as before.
=(

P.S ZEH ZEH'S BIRTHDAY!! =D Bought him books ;)

P.P.S I had finished up Add Maths. Ha. Ha. Ha.
