My 18th Birthday Present

We get so many birthday gifts, but we remember only the ones, which are truly special. Of all the birthday gifts that I received, my 18th birthday is most memorable for the unique gift that I got. On my 18th birthday, I got a beautiful hand-woven dress made by my granny. It is made of white silk lace with red satin floral prints all over it. It is beautiful even today, and I cherish it as a special keepsake. I have preserved it with great care and wear it only on special family occasions. The dress is my dear possesion and would remind me of my granny, when she is no more! She is now very old, almost 86, and frail. I wish her long life and pray that she lives many more years!
