Color Me Happy Happy Happy

I have had a Snowball Bush for about 15years or so.
It was so beautiful,it had reach a hight of about 8ft tall, and then something happened, it started to slowly year by year getting smaller & smaller.
I have a deal with the plants in my yard that if they don't grow & be pretty they
have to live somewhere else.
Well they all agree and grow so PRETTY....However my snowball bush as I said was getting small, & had bad issues, he was trying to die.
I tried everything I could research to try for him.
Including fertilizers, fungi sides,germi sides, talking nicely & at time very angry, nothing work.
I did not give up even though we had a deal, I kept saying if you don't snap out of it soon, you will have to move, I did this for several years.
So with great regret, we(hubby & I) cut him back clear to the ground. Last fall we tried to move him to see if it would snap out of it. He was so massive when Ed tried to dig him up we had to cut him in half to move his root system.
We transplanted him to 2 different spots in the yard & Yesterday !
he has brand new growth coming up as you can see in the photo's.
So long story shorter can you see me do the Happy Dance ?
PS the other 2 photos are my Bleeding Heart's growing the hearts and I want to share the rain drop's resting on the leaves of last night's rain, on my Columbine

Painted Stepping Stones(Natural Rock)

These are my newest items I take real stone and I paint on them for stepping stones for your lawn or flowers. They are one of a kind only so when 1 sells I won't do another one the same. These are hand painted one is various sized mushroom houses bright colored with vine and a lady bug, one is lady bugs and flowers that reads " Watch your step please" and the other is just pink and yellow flowers. I have various sizes and shapes. as you can see by the pictures the mushroom stone is a larger rock. I spray they with a gloss finish spray so they last quit awhile in your garden. Spring is HERE!

This weather is crazy!!  Two weeks ago we were in our swimming suits playing in the sand box, and this weekend we have our boots on stomping in the snow!  

One thing that has made me smile lately is walking into the store every day and seeing SPRING no matter what the weather is outside.  Everything is so bright and cheery... maybe these pictures will give you a little glimpse into what fun lies ahead when the weather is consistently nice outside!

Recycling for Art !

I will be adding some blogs that are about recycling things to paint on. This blog is a juice can (quart size) that I painted
I started by using texture medium letting it dry and then painting the flowers on the can.
I have show close up pics so you can see more detail.
I believe there is alot of trash out there that should be turned into useful things so I will be posting blogs and pics about that very thing.
This can I use to store things like pliers, sharpening stone ect...

This is a Wreath I have for Easter, it is a grapevine wreath with very colorful silk spring flowers, a raffia bow and a 3/4" wood hand painted easter bunny holding an oversized carrot that reads "Hop On In" very cute.

I stained the wood first and then painted over the wood, so the bunny has wood grain showing. I hope you will stop by my website and see all the wonderful items I create.
