Recycling for Art !

I will be adding some blogs that are about recycling things to paint on. This blog is a juice can (quart size) that I painted
I started by using texture medium letting it dry and then painting the flowers on the can.
I have show close up pics so you can see more detail.
I believe there is alot of trash out there that should be turned into useful things so I will be posting blogs and pics about that very thing.
This can I use to store things like pliers, sharpening stone ect...

Tole Painting Tips

After base coating, if you use a piece of brown paper bag and sand lightly, this will create a very smooth surface for adding the detail work to your project.
Also if you use Color Float and/or Gel Blending Medium by Delta Ceramcoat it will also make your painting much easier. Follow the directions on the bottles.
